The death of a young man found unresponsive by a cleaner in Melbourne’s CBD has sparked a homicide probe.
Emergency services were called to an apartment on Flinders St just after 10.30am on Saturday after the cleaner found the 22-year-old unconscious.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics, but could not be saved.

The apartment where the young man, from Kings Park, died was being used as a short-term rental and police are yet to establish exactly what happened to him.
However, after a postmortem examination of the man, detectives are treating the death as suspicious.
The Homicide Squad is now investigating and anyone who may have information is urged to contact police.
