Lee Swindall is the Vice President of Business & Industry Development for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), Wisconsin’s lead economic development organization.
Lee has over 30 years experience in business development, strategic communications and marketing and public relations. Lee most recently was the Director of Marketing, Director of Consulting Services and acting Executive Director for the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP).
Prior to WMEP, Lee was vice president of marketing and client relations with Argea, Inc., a business management consulting company based in Princeton, NJ. Lee’s career also includes corporate and client management for foreign investment companies such as Market Makers Group (London)/ING, ABN-AMRO,CM&M/Hong Kong Shanghai Bank and Shearson/Lehman Bros. Inc.
Lee has co-authored chapter in Six Billion Minds, a book about innovation and global outsourcing competitiveness. He is also sole author of book in development global competitiveness and mid-sized companies.
Lee has a B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois.
